Get to Know Me

Teaching is chaotic and messy most of the time! Sometimes, there's just not enough hours in the day to prep your guided reading lessons for your five different groups or grade the last six weeks worth of assignments that are spilling over the sides of your turn in basket. You're not alone in this, teacher sis! I'm Katie Clark, a kindergarten teacher from Texas. It's my passion to help busy teachers get organized, tackle behavior management and master flexible seating!

I'm a proud Texas girl, born and raised. I met my husband freshman year of high school. We had to complete a project on Huckleberry Finn. I didn't really care whether he helped or not, I just wanted to be his partner so I could talk to him. I earned him an A on the project, and he stole my heart. We have been together ever since! We are dog parents to a sweet Pittie named Spirit. He always keeps us laughing. When I'm not spending time with my favorite boys, I'm usually spending time outside taking walks or going on bike rides. I'm a total introvert! I don't mind spending time by myself. I  love a good DIY project! I have a growing pile of treasures that I have plans for one day.

I've been teaching in primary for six years. Along the way, I've learned some tips and tricks that will help lighten the load of hard working teachers. I've been creating classroom resources for three years. I'm passionate about sharing my ideas with other teachers with the hope that they will have more time to do what they love.
